Dalton unveils cautious multi-asset fund

Dalton Strategic Partnership has launched a new cautious global asset allocation fund.

The Melchior Selected Trust Global Conservative fund can invest up to 55% of its assets in equities, but also has the flexibility to hold up to 100% in cash. It will be available in sterling, euro and US dollars, is able to hedge all its non UK assets into sterling if appropriate. Dalton's fund managers have been running the strategy since 2005 for segregated private client accounts. Andrew Dalton, who will co-manage the fund, says it has the capacity to capitalise on global market opportunities while retaining high levels of liquidity.
