Stopford assumes full control of Investec fund on manager exit

John Stopford will assume full control of the Investec Sterling Bond fund after the departure of Harsha Patel.

The manager's move follows the high-profile exit of Chris O'Hare in August, although the group has made a number of hires in its credit team in recent months. Investec Sterling Bond is top quartile over three years to 27 October, up 13.9%, according to Trustnet. OBSR has decided to maintain the fund's A Rating.
