Thames River and Jupiter unveil new offshore portfolios

Thames River and Jupiter have unveiled new offshore launches to the UK and European market.

Boutique Thames River plans to launch two long/short funds in the first half of 2010, to be managed by Joel Amsellem and Gaurav Bamania. The group will roll out a new higher income fund and euro-denominated Continental Europe portfolio, sitting alongside its existing UK Absolute Income fund. Both will be Dublin-domiciled Ucits III vehicles; with the higher income fund structured in the same way as UK Absolute Income, utilising a call writing strategy in conjunction with the long/short stock selection.
