Ignis hire to help boost adviser relationships

Ignis Asset Management has hired Nick Pogmore as head of strategic alliances to help build links with national IFAs, networks, life offices and fund platforms.

Pogmore will take up the newly created role on 2 November and will report to head of retail sales Austin McBride. He joins Ignis from M&G, where he was partnerships development director. Ignis maintains Pogmore's appointment marks another major milestone in its plans to grow its UK retail market share and to expand its UK and European operations. "Nick has extensive experience of building relationships with the UK's major distributors and life companies and he will be a great asset to us as we continue to develop our brand and investment proposition in the advisory market," says McBri...
