Maia Capital founder Collins joins SEI

SEI, the investment solutions provider, has appointed former Maia Capital founder Jason Collins as its head of UK and European equities.

Collins will be responsible for research, portfolio construction and manager selection on all SEI's UK and European manager-of-manager funds. The former Fidelity multi-manger left the Maia boutique when joint venture partner Ignis terminated its contract in July. "Jason's extensive experience of the UK and European markets and, in particular, his depth of knowledge of manager selection and portfolio construction will prove invaluable in this new position," SEI Investment Management Unit head Kevin Barr says.
