Thames River hires ex-Fidelity manager

Thames River has appointed ex-Fidelity manager Trygve Tøraasen to its European equities team.

Tøraasen's arrival follows the June appointments of James van den Bergh, Carlos Moreno and Omer Tore to the team. The manager will work alongside former Fidelity colleague Moreno on the Thames River European fund. Tøraasen was with Fidelity Investments for 14 years, delivering top-quartile performance on the FMR Europe fund (2006-2008) and Fidelity European Dynamic Growth fund (2001-2008).
