Cornelain Asset Managers has hired Richard Alexander, former director Global Equity dealing at BlackRock Investment Management, as associate director Investment Operations.
The role at Edinburgh-based Cornelian is designed to enhance the company’s service to private clients. At BlackRock, Alexander created a centralised dealing desk covering US and Edinburgh-based portfolio managers. He Alexander previously led a team at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership before he and the team moved to BlackRock in 1990.
