The Dow Jones has mirrored the FTSE 100 in early trading, climbing 95 points (1.1%) to 8,543. Big winners included miners and retailers, with Kraft Foods leading the pack early. Kraft shares increased 3.35% to $26.19, with Coca Cola third highest riser, up 2.25% to $49.07. Caterpillar made the second largest gain after shares fell on Tuesday, up 2.51% to $33.87, while aluminium specialist Alcoa added 2.18% to $10.56.
