Managers outline early changes to portfolios as inaugural fund mergers commence
Henderson New Star's Stephen Peak will not retain a single holding from either Hidden Value or Select Opportunities immediately when the funds are merged into his £158.2m UK Alpha vehicle. The strategies of both funds will disappear post-merger, as Peak plans to turn around the historic underperformance built up under former managers Jamie Allsopp and Charles Deptford.
