Investec Asset Management has appointed Jeff Burch co-head of its credit team and manager of its offshore Global Credit Opportunities fund. Joining from specialist credit hedge fund Blue Mountain Capital, Burch replaces John Stopford as portfolio manager on Global Credit Opportunities - a fund soft-launched by Investec nearly a year ago. Burch, who helped to build and run Blue Mountain Capital's European credit operations, will be responsible for the day-to-day working of Investec's specialist credit team.
