Baring Multi Asset fund manager Andrew Cole is looking to boost risk exposure in his recently-launched portfolio, expecting higher-risk assets to outperform through this phase of the downturn. Cole particularly sees current value in UK equities, building up a 28% exposure at the end of May. The manager also remains keen on fixed income, especially in corporate debt - holding positions in the Baring Corporate Bond and M&G Corporate Bond funds.
