Ignis Asset Management's David Clark has moved away from defensives as he repositions his UK Smaller Companies fund for the second half of the year. Clark says he has increased the number of holdings to 83 from 70, re-focusing his portfolio on stock picking rather than wider market themes. "We have really gone back to basics and focused on what we do best: unearthing companies that are unloved but have fantastic growth potential," says Clark.
