Global equity income funds managers are split over the locations for future dividend payments. Managers seeking yields in equity markets outside the UK have been largely withdrawing from the US in recent months, replacing those stocks with Asian or European holdings. According to figures from the FTSE All-World Review, average regional dividend yields at 31 March ranges from nearly 6.5% in Europe (ex UK) to around 3% in the US and Japan.
