Funds in the IMA Property sector saw performance steady in May, after April's massive gains, caused by rights issue activity in the UK and US. UK and global property equity funds saw returns spike as much as 30% in April, with the sector average going from around par (0.03%) to 9.25%, despite bricks and mortar vehicles continuing to suffer, according to Lipper.
