The FTSE 100 moved into positive territory this morning following yesterday's sharp losses, rising more than 20 points, or 0.47%, to 4,346.26 by 8.25am. Britain's largest retailer Tesco has added 6.4p, or 1.8%, to 362.5p, after announcing it has met forecasts with a 9.7% rise in first-quarter sales. International service company Serco leads the gainers, up 2.97% to 407.5p, on the news it has renewed and expanded a £245m contract with the Dubai Airports Company. BT Group is also flourishing, 3.37% higher to 98.1p, after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to overweight for the first time...
