Standard Life Investments (SLI) believes there is an opportunity-rich market for small and mid-cap companies despite an economic recovery being some way off. Jacqueline Kerr, head of mutual and life fund investments, says the equity rally since March has produced notable winners in this space, with investors gaining confidence in the potential for smaller companies to recover.
