Former Quantum CEO Mark Mathias has temporarily joined Thames River Capital to assist with the transition of the UK Absolute Income fund. Quantum recently announced it would no longer be acting as an asset manager to the UK Absolute Income fund or its structured investment plans. The day-to-day management of the structured products range was passed to administrator Keydata Investments before the firm subsequently went into administration, while the UK Absolute Income fund and its fund manager Joel Amsellem moved to Thames River.
