Roger Guy and Guillaume Rambourg will cease the bulk of their retail management responsibilities at Gartmore next year, following the arrival of GAM's John Bennett. They will hand the running of their £1.5bn European Select Opportunities fund, as well as their continental Europe Sicavs to Bennett, who will become European Equities senior portfolio manager in early 2010. The pair looks set to remain at the company, continuing to manage the long/short European Absolute Return fund launched for them in January as well as three institutional hedge funds.
