Axa IM is to close its Ethical, UK Opportunities, Equity Income and UK Growth funds. The group said the move, which will see many assets shift to the group's Axa Framlington subsidiary, will remove duplications in the range and add clarity. It recently merged away a small-cap fund and renamed its Cautious Managed vehicle Defensive Distribution after shifting clients into its Distribution umbrella. Among the other changes, the Ethical fund will become Ethical Distribution, with manager Richard Marwood remaining in place. Marwood's Axa UK Opportunities fund will be replaced by an Axa ...
