The amendment to the Finance Bill tabled by Shadow paymaster general Stephen O'Brien MP, on 13 May is expected to be debated at the end of the Finance Committee's sitting on 10 or 12 June. As revealed by Investment Week on 5 May, O'Brien is calling for the removal of section 76 1(a), the clause that allows for the ending of the Isa tax credit in April 2004.
