M&G claimed more than one in 10 of all Isa sales and Pep transfers through intermediaries over the first quarter. Parent company Prudential's results reveal M&G's 39% year-on-year drop in first quarter Isa sales was offset by a 42% rise in its Isa and Pep transfer market share. Phil Wagstaff, managing director, retail, at M&G, said the group achieved gross Isa and Pep transfer inflows of £74m and gross total inflows of £293m in the first quarter. The latter figure is down 5% on the same period last year.
