UK-focused ethical funds have suffered dramatically during the credit crunch in the wake of last year's bumper sales. Of 14 ethical funds in the UK All Companies sector, 10 report bottom-quartile one-year results to 14 July, with four of them ranking bottom-decile according to Morningstar. IMA statistics for the end of Q3 last year showed assets in ethical funds had reached £5.8bn, 28% more than at the same point in 2007.
