Ex-pharmacist Jayesh Manek is one of just three mainstream equity managers to deliver positive one-year returns as the credit crunch reaches its first anniversary. Of the 1,500-plus funds in the main equity sectors, only Neptune, F&C and Manek Investments have vehicles boasting gains.
