Skandia has replaced Threadneedle with Polar Capital as one of the 10 managers on its UK Strategic Best Ideas fund. The group has been reconsidering Threadneedle's share of the mandate since Paul Findley departed in July to go travelling. Polar Capital's £10m portion of the £102m offering is to be run by ex-Schroders manager Phil Hardy, who has experience of UK equities and hedge funds.
