Allied Dunbar pulled its funds from the Micropal service this week after the latter decided against introducing a new sector that the life company felt would be more appropriate for its funds. Micropal had considered introducing a sector called UK and International Equities, which would have included funds which had more than 80% of their assets invested in equities with between 50% and 80% invested in the UK.
