Isa sales in January fell substantially from January 2002 but repurchases of both Isas and Peps have been on the rise, according to the IMA's monthly statistics. Isa net sales accounted for £157m, lower than the £211m recorded in December 2002 and almost half of those recorded in January last year. Yet Isa repurchases showed a strong growth trend, with repurchases at £186.6m for January 2003, growing significantly from the £104.5m in January 2002.
