• Legal & General is launching its first Sandler product, a Medium Term Investment Plan (MTIP), this week. The MTIP, available as an Isa and unit trust will invest via the Legal & General Distribution Trust, which invests in a combination of equities and bonds, with at least 60% always invested in corporate bonds. The Government hopes stakeholder investment products will encourage more people to save so the minimum investment amount is just £20, either as a lump sum or as a regular monthly premium.
