Close Property Investment, a division of Close Brothers Investment, launched the Close High Income Properties investment trust (CHIP) on 24 October, with the hope of raising up to £50m. The fund will focus on investing in healthcare and leisure properties, said Anthony Wyld, managing director, with the aim of generating yields of 7.5% per year. CHIP is accessible via Isas, Sipps and SSAS. Minimum investment for pension funds is £5,000.
