Gartmore has confirmed details of its first fund launch in five years, a European Absolute Return vehicle run by Roger Guy and Guillaume Rambourg. As revealed by Investment Week last month, the long/short vehicle aims to make use of the pair's experience of running hedge funds. They have managed the group's European equity hedge product AlphaGen Capella since inception in 1999, as well as the long-only £1.8bn European Selected Opportunities offering for over a decade.
