Fidelity has reported Isa sales of more than £2bn for the tax year 2004-2005, an increase of 53% on last year's figures. Total Isa sales for the 2004-2005 tax year via Fidelity's own fund superstore, FundsNetwork, rose 89% on the same period in 2003-2004, including sales of both Fidelity's own funds and those offered by third-party houses. Online sales in the last few days of the tax year were the best seen for three years, with a total of nearly £27m invested since 1 April and for the Isa season as a whole, sales topped £111m, an increase of 22% on the 2003/04 Isa season.
