Markets are in the doldrums once again. The investment trust sector has suffered disproportionately as Dresdner Kleinwort's book was dumped onto the market, sending property trusts in particular sharply lower. Soaring oil prices are fuelling inflation and this is taking its toll on a number of emerging markets. There are few places to hide in this environment.
