WH Ireland has made a final rejig of its anticipated UK income fund and a late September launch is now confirmed. Details for their Income Plus fund have been changed significantly since it was first proposed, as has the launch date, to ensure it can deliver despite the credit crunch. James Igoe will manage the fund, which will be administered by Marlborough. Igoe said it will now aim to generate an internal yield of 8% or 9% through dividends from equities and by issuing covered call premiums.
