Hopefully the UK is on the brink of real pensions reform. Following the publication of Lord Turner's second Pensions Commission report late last year, the Government has been mulling over its options for taking this forward, and there appears to be an appetite among Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) ministers to make tangible changes. Whether this appetite is shared by Treasury ministers remains to be seen.
