By Pascal Dowling Isa investors have until 6 April 2001 to invest in the Scottish Investment Trust free of charge. The trust decided not to levy any charges on its Isa until 6 April 2001 shortly after it introduced the Isa wrapper in 1999. After 6 April, the original charging structure will be applied with the effect that annual fees are charged at 0.6% with a flat cap of £30 per annum. A transfer out fee, which penalises investors for switching their money into another investment trust with a £30 fee, will also be reinstated from the same date.
