Investec is adamant the recent walkout of five of its top fund managers will not endanger the company's reputation for expertise in the fixed interest and UK equities arenas

Investec made headlines last month when five UK and global fund managers and analysts walked out of the company over a pay dispute. For any business that focuses on the retail market, getting UK equities right is vital and the loss of a complete team is far from helpful.
