The IMA Specialist is different from any other IMA sector. It includes all of the funds that cannot be placed elsewhere within the fund universe and as such it is the most diverse of all of the IMA sectors, from the many property funds to the recently launched New Star Heart of Africa fund. It is also a growing sector: there are now 103 funds with a one-year performance record, up from 46 with a three-year track record and 32 funds with over five years.
