Mercury Asset Management has added a drawdown feature to its GlobalIsa product. The Mercury Capital Drawdown Plan allows investors to make regular capital withdrawals from their investments. Clients can pick an amount, a time period and the fund or funds from which they can draw down an income. The Plan is free of charge to holders of Mercury unit trusts, Peps or Isas. It allows clients to supplement pension income, for example, or pay school fees on a regular basis.
