At least four investment trusts are likely to be relegated from the FTSE Small Cap index this week leaving shareholders nursing losses as share prices plummet. Henderson Strata, Finsbury Technology and Charter Pan-European look likely to be relegated due to their size, according to analyst Winterflood Securities. The cut-off between the Small Cap and Fledgling indices is likely to be £72.8m it estimates, compared to £61.38m last year due to movements in the index.
