Forsyth OBSR has suspended its AA rating on the £223m Jupiter Emerging European Opportunities fund and removed the ranking from JO Hambro Investment Managers' European portfolio. Lead manager on the Jupiter product Elena Shaftan is currently on maternity leave and Forsyth OBSR said the rating could well be reinstated on her return. In her absence, her deputy Ingrid Kukuljan is running the fund and while all buy or sell decisions are made with Shaftan's approval, Forsyth OBSR believes the absence of the latter's day-to-day management is a negative.
