By Robert Stock Murray Johnstone's unit trusts will be rebranded under its purchaser Aberdeen's brand and a series of fund mergers looks likely. Murray Johnstone has an Oeic which Aberdeen is keen to retain but there are no plans as yet to rebrand the Murray Johnstone investment trust range. The expected reshuffle follows the agreement by Old Mutual to sell Murray Johnstone to Aberdeen, subject to Aberdeen shareholders consent, for £150m.
