Friends Provident is introducing a hybrid Isa by converting an insurance Isa into a straight investment wrapper and enabling both mini and maxi investment. Earlier this year Isa rules were changed to allow life Isas to become investment ones while still retaining their insurance elements. At the same time mini-Isa levels rose from £3,000 to £4,000. As such Friends Provident is offering the Friends®Isa, featuring no initial charge and a 1.25% annual fee.
