net retail sales for september rise threefold on same period in 2004, but fall from august 2005
September saw a rise in investment funds under management, while Isa funds grew slightly over August figures, according to the IMA's latest statistics. While the 2% rise recorded in September over the previous month, in terms of Isa funds under management, looks anaemic, it still represents a rise over September 2004 numbers. The trade body's latest sales report shows net Isa sales rose massively over September 2004 figures, with recorded net figures of £46m compared to -£23m this time last year.
