The FSA has warned it will review promotions for Sipp and VCT offerings after recent research suggested firms are breaking regulatory guidelines. According to Financial Promotions Bulletin, a sample of Sipp material found only half of press and 22% of web promotions met the standards that applied from 6 April. As a result, the FSA said it will review Sipp promotions again now the wrapper has come under its jurisdiction.
