JP Morgan was named overall group winner for the second year running, with the judges highlighting its broad and consistent range and commitment to the closed-ended space. The group has 20 trusts with total assets under management of £4bn and remains the largest player in this part of the market. Group of the year is judged on a quants basis, looking at performance across the range, with an eye to a company's overall activity in the closed-ended world.
