The majority of groups are reporting improved sales for this Isa season, with income funds proving popular once again. Most groups said growth was fairly limited over last year's numbers and claimed the dominance of supermarkets is making it increasingly hard to calculate exact figures. Investment intermediaries also reported a slight rise in sales over 2004 figures, although all noted cash Isas continue to win out over stocks and shares in terms of popularity among clients.
