Gartmore put its Emerging Markets fund in its Global Isa product as part of its aim to promote the unit trust to advisers. The Global Isa product, in which investors can switch between the funds without charge, had 16 links including the Gartmore European Select Opportunities Techtornado and American Smaller Companies unit trusts. Manager of the unit trust Philip Ehrmann said there was increased interest in the emerging markets as fears of potential year 2000 problems had died down.
