BlackRock's European manager Albert Morillo will have no retail presence in the UK market after his outsourced contract with Investec ends later this year. Morillo's Edinburgh-based team, which runs $10.3bn of institutional money for the group, is thought to be nearing the end of its original incentive plan and will renegotiate terms in due course. The group has no plans to launch more retail-orientated offerings for the team in the short term.
