The Standard Life European Private Equity Trust has been working with Standard Life group to establish an appropriate Isa product on its ordinary shares. Scott Dobbie, chairman of the trust, said it is anticipated the Isa will be marketed by Standard Life Investments (Mutual Funds) in mid-February 2002. He said the board and manager believe the launch of an Isa will generate retail interest in the company's ordinary shares and broaden the shareholder base.
