Some 36 funds will be available through the New Star Isa from 31 May 2004, following the merger of Edinburgh Fund Managers' (EFM) administration platform onto its own. The integration of the two platforms marks the final hurdle of 15 months of acquisition activity for New Star, following the purchase of fund contracts from Aberdeen, Exeter and EFM. Before the integration investors could only hold EFM funds through an EFM-branded Isa, now clients can hold former Aberdeen, Exeter and EFM funds under one single wrapper.
