Insufficient demand for micro-cap trust forces board to propose broader investment policy
Henderson Global Investors is looking to hand the £65.7m Strata investment trust to Lowland manager James Henderson. As part of the changes, the group is seeking approval to change the vehicle's name to Henderson Opportunities Trust, expand its investment objective and move the vehicle from the UK Smaller Companies to UK Growth sector. The trust will change its investment policy from holding UK micro caps to Henderson's value-oriented stockpicking style across the market cap spectrum.
